NBA DFS 2/2/16 Draft Kings

Point Guard

Damian Lillard, $9,200– The offense runs through Lillard, and in a smaller slate tonight, Lillard is a fine building block when constructing your lineups.

Michael Carter-Williams, $6,400– Lillard is a miserable defender, and MCW has been playing great as of late.  MCW is my top play at the PG position.

Goran Dragic, $5,500Dragic has been less than stellar thus far this season, but he is back from injury and the Heat noticed how much they need him running the offense.  Whiteside has been ruled out tonight, which will open up the paint for Dragic to drive and create offense the best way he can.

Marcus Smart, $5,400–  If Crowder is out, the offense will need to run through other players, and Smart is one of the top candidates.  He’s been playing well as of late, and he is a nice play if Crowder sits.

Shooting Guard

Dwayne Wade, $7,300– Wade is going through a hot streak right now, and this price tag is wonderful for one the Heat’s top scorers.

Devin Booker, $5,600- I’m done with Archie Goodwin for the time being, so this leaves the 19 year old guard as the only player I trust in the Phoenix backcourt.  He’s been a very safe play since Bledsoe’s injury, so Booker is a safe play at the SG slot.

Evan Turner, $4,800– Turner may get the start if Crowder is out, so keep an eye on that.  Solid play because of the potential minutes and Turner’s ability to record stats in points, rebounds, and assists.

Allen Crabbe, $4,000– Solid punt play here, as Crabbe has been scoring well off the bench when Aminu or McCollum need a rest.

Small Forward

Carmelo Anthony, $8,400– It’s a messy position tonight, and you really aren’t trying to fit in any large salaries anywhere else, so Melo shouldn’t be hard to get into your lineups.  He’s averaged 36 fantasy points in two games versus the Celtics this year, and Anthony’s upside is always intriguing.

Shabazz Muhammad, $4,300–  Shabazz has the potential to give you nothing on any given night, but in a matchup versus the dreadful Lakers, he should get plenty of minutes in a blowout.  Muhammad can light up the score sheet if he’s feeling it, so feel free to use him if you need salary relief.

Mirza Teletovic, $4,100 TJ Warren has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, so expect Teletovic to get more minutes from here on out.  The Suns’ roster is a mess, but at this price tag, Teletovic doesn’t need to do much to return value.  If he starts tonight, he is a very good play.

Power Forward

Jabari Parker, $5,300– Averaging 27 fantasy points and 35 minutes over the last 6 games, Parker gets a solid matchup against Portland.

Amir Johnson, $5,100– One of the Celtics most trustworthy players, Johnson is a getting the rebounds and minutes to be a nice play here.

Amar’e Stoudemire, $4,400– Whiteside is out, and Stoudemire has the trust from the Heat organization.  His ceiling isn’t high, but I like his chances to get 20+ fantasy points.

Nemanja Bjelica, $3,200– Intriguing punt play in tournaments, Bjelica will get playing time with the thin Minnesota frontcourt.  He has the potential to win you big bucks if he soaks up junk time late in this matchup.

Center

Karl Anthony-Towns, $7,800–  KAT is the lock of the night, and with Garnett and Pekovic both out for the Timberwolves, he is going to get plenty of minutes as well.  He is on fire at the moment, averaging 47 fantasy points over his last 5 games.  High floor, high ceiling, and fading him will most likely cost you cash.

Gorgui Dieng, $5,400– As stated previously, Minnesota’s front court is thin tonight, and Dieng has been magnificent lately even with limited minutes.  Feel free locking both these guys into your lineup.

Meyers Leonard, $4,000– If you don’t want to play the Wolves’ centers, Leonard is a decent punt play.  His minutes are inconsistent, but if he gets 20+, you won’t regret the play.
